This is a limited kit, with only 15 12 left!

Here is a small preview of what you will receive in your kit
Priced at $25.95

and I have been busy again  ....

Introducing our latest Handmade Creations ...

A collection of pearls, crackled glass and rhinestone beads adorn our silver & antique bronze eye pins,
together with the special touch of a hanging charm

Antique Bronze Charming Pins
available in 6 colours

Antique Silver Charming Pins
available in 4 colours

Here are a couple of projects I created today using our new pins ...

Spray 2 doilies with Olive Vine Glimmer Mist, (cut one in half)

While the Glimmer Mist is drying:

Using your Ink Blending Tool cover the front of your card using Vintage Photo Distress Ink and then Shabby Shutters Distress Ink

Add 1 dark green felt felt embossed strip heart to the centre of your rosette

Using double sided tape or hot glue gun (liquid glue gets absorbed into the felt and won't adhere anything) add our Pink and Antique Bronze Charming Pin
then where your tape/glue is holding the pin and felt heart together ... adhere a small dark pink rose

placed onto a brown mulberry flower

Using Carol Creations Tiny Etch Alpha Stickers (sprayed with Olive Vine Glimmer Mist) and adhere to an Antique Bronze Flower Wrap Filigree to create your greeting.  Place on a brown mulberry flower

And then I create this

a birthday rosette

 instead of a birthday card

Using the reverse side of Prima Meadow Lark Labella (so pretty, here is a close up of the paper) I cut another rosette from Tim Holtz Rosette Die  & ink edges with brown ink

Glued an Antique Bronze Flat Circle Filigree to the rosette then a yellow flower
adding our Yellow and Antique Bronze Charming Pin
and finished off with a small yellow rose.

I inked a white tag with yellow and pine cone ink, stamped my greeting and tied a bow with 10mm Dark Brown Organza Ribbon

Then finishing it off by gluing a skewer to the back

(WE ARE CURRENTLY OUT OF STOCK OF THE ROSETTE DIE BUT IF YOU WOULD LIKE SOME CUT, ORDER THE PAPER AND I WILL CUT IT FOR YOU.  IN ADDITION, IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO PURCHASE THE DIE LET ME KNOW AND I WILL ORDER IT IN FOR YOU)

Creating your own stamps

Creating your stamps

Before I show you how
let's start from the beginning ...

In this months embellishment kit the ladies received these traffic lights which I created using my Tim Holtz Holiday Lamppost (sorry about the bad photography but it is pouring with rain & very grey here on the Gold Coast)

To create it I ....

First I cut from my Tim Holtz die using a piece of scrap pizza box and cutting off the light bit and minus the holly

Then cutting a rectangle
and taking out the inside of this rectangle leaving approximately .5cm around each side and to fit 3 cabochons  (pizza box is perfect for this part because of the layers making it easier to take out the middle bit)
Each cabochons has 3 pieces of cardstock behind them to create the light

I cut a very thin strip of chipboard and placed behind to join the stand and lights together

To finish I painted it with black paint and once dry covering with dimensional magic

now moving on to creating your own stamps

I was thinking of adding an embellishment to go with the traffic lights and came up with this

It is one of our wooden buttons painted and a car charm adhered to the top.

Then I struck a problem ... I didn't have a "C" stamp to fit the button

So ....

I got out my pile of thickers and chipboard letters

Found a "C" that would fit, covered it with stazon ink, stamped onto my button and

ta da

my own stamp!

I used a Prima Texture Linen Letter for the example

but

American Crafts Foam Thickers are PERFECT for this technique

Cool ah?

Speaking of cool! I am off to find some socks it is getting a bit chilly here!

Hoping you are all having a great weekend

Flower Girls

Flower girls

For a long time my girls have wanted to be flower girls and finally their wish came true.

my2angels has the perfect range of romantic embellishments to go with the photo from the wedding. I didn't want to have too many embellies on this page, because Joel already complained about being on a pink page, so I made a small cluster.

There is a love pin, a couple of cabochon flowersleaf charms and...

...my favourite, a notepad charm:

it even opens up! Imagine putting a little pull-out booklet in there.

Housewarming Card with lots of keys

Housewarming Card

I have been dying to play around with Claudine Hellmuth Studio Multi-Medium, and I played so much that I only have 1/4 of the jar left LOL

I love that it is a sealant and adhesive in one jar!  Plus it allows me to colour charms in a multitude of colours & variations!

I haven't finished all the projects I have started (nothing new there!) but I have completed this Housewarming Card

Here is how I created it:

I put a greeting card through the cuttlebug using Sizzix Texture Fades Brick Embossing Folder, sprayed with Olive Vine Glimmer Mist, and wiped with Vintage Photo Distress Ink

Cut out a door frame from a pizza box and cover with Claudine Hellmuth Studio Multi-Medium  .

While it is still wet, place old house keys and key charms over it to adhere.

Once dry, I then painted over the keys with Claudine Hellmuth Studio Multi-Medium

When this layer is dry, spray with your choice of Glimmer Mist.  I used Olive Vine Glimmer Mist, Coffee Shop Glimmer Mist and my current favourite Puerto Rico Glimmer Mist

Next I paint Gesso over a small square filigree and when dried wiped with a green ink and Vintage Photo Distress Ink

Attach your door to the greeting card

Using your finger wipe Ocean Blue Liquid Pearls over our Door and Key Charm  and adhered to filigree then placed on door for a door lock

Painted house charm with Claudine Hellmuth Studio Multi-Medium then using your finger again wipe Vintage Photo Distress Ink over it, added a green rose and there you have it!

Wishing you all a creative and relaxing week

Antique Bronze Filigrees and Charms

I am still loving my Antique Bronze charm selection from my2angels

Every now and then I swoop down on Tracy (I like to sneak in unannounced, so she doesn’t have time to hide the new ones from me) and buy everything in sight. I’m still in a butterfly craze at the moment too – so there were more of them on the last of the recent layouts.

.

I’ve used another of those gorgeous filigree butterflies that I love, again teaming it with a Resin Blossom. Nestled next to that is a peach pearl version of the stunning little Pearl Stick that I used in blue for an earlier layout. Seriously – Tracy has 16 different pearl colours – you NEED one of each colour of these!!! I need one of each colour of these – Tracy – you reading this?? You hearing me on this?? Start selling them woman!!!!

LOL Yes Ngaire I am reading this!  Guess what I plan to do all next week with pins, charms and pearls???

Hanging down from the bottom of the butterfly is another Antique Bronze butterfly charm and a set of keys – both hanging from some Bronze Chain. I was inspired by the old Chatelaine sets of keys that women used to wear – so I thought these would look lovely together with the vintage dress form and the tulle.

Finally – these yummy Flower Filigree Wraps are again back in stock – so run in and grab some before I make my next visit. :)

Ngaire here again,
with a layout I recently created with lots of my2angels goodness

This Clock with Gears Charm is stunning!

To get this beautiful pin you need to wait… I’ve been nagging Tracy (waving Tracy – yes that’s you) to put these into general production at my2angels. So help me out here and send her an email asking her to make one for you. ;) These short little stick pins are just the cutest things ever. (Mwah Tracy – you know you love me!!) :)
The heart and key charms can be bought here and here.

And one very gorgeous Antique Bronze Clock with Bee Charm

Finally – these fabulous and oh so usable Filigree bits – here - are sadly out of stock at the moment – but Tracy tells me they will be back in stock by mid next week.
